The team is in a normal preparation and training mode. Congratulation AK-1 DMAT – You did it!Team, This time last year we set a goal to become fully deployable in 2010. I am excited to report that AK-1 DMAT is on the 2010 National Disaster Medical System rotation schedule. You have done it! AK-1 DMAT is on call during the months of January, April, July and October. During these months we are one of four West Coast teams first due out in the event of a disaster or event of national significant. What this means for us is that we must roster a team on these on call month and deployed when called. Your hard work and willingness to serve have been recognized thank you all. October 11 2009
